Hummingbird Garden Wildflower Seed Mixture
This mixture contains a colorful array of flowering plants that provide nectar and attract small insects for your Hummingbird garden.

This mixture is composed of long-lived perennials, annuals and biennials that will provide a wide range of flowers, nectars and insects to your Hummingbird garden.

1 pound will cover approximately 500 square feet (20' x 25' area)

Alcea rosea
"Hollyhock"
Biennial. Grows to 4 feet high. Blooms in summer. Tall spikes of papery single flowers in pink, rose or white. Thrives in sun and heat. Easy to grow.
Aquilegia vulgaris
"Garden Columine"
Perennial. Grows to 2 feet high. Blooms in spring. A graceful plant with short-spurred pastel colored flowers on long stems above fern-like foliage.
Digitalis purpurea
"Foxglove"
Biennial. Grows to 4 feet high. Blooms in spring. Tall showy spiked of spotted bell-shaped flowers in colors ranging from white to lavnder, pink to purple. An excellent re-seeder.
Hesperis matronalis
"Dame's Violet"
Perennial. Grows to 2 1/2 feet high. Blooms in summer. Erect branching stems with attractive, fragrant clusters of lilac-colored flowers. Easy to grow.
Dianthus barbatus
"Sweet William"
Biennial. Grows 1 1/2 feet high. Blooms in spring-summer. Dense clusters of numerous little flowers above shiny green foliage. Flowers range in color from red, white, pink, rose to lilac with a clove-like fragrance. Easy to grow.
Lupinus polyphyllus
"Russell's Lupine"
Perennial. Grows to 4 feet high. Blooms in summer. Large showy spikes of yellow, pink, red, purple, white or bi-color flowers. Re-seeds well.
Mirabilis jalapa
"Four-O'Clock"
Annual. Grows to 2 feet high. Blooms in summer. Bushy, sturdy plants covered with funnel-shaped flowers in colors of red, pink, yellow or white. Opens late in afternoon on sunny days. Easy to grow.
Monarda citriodora
"Lemon Mint"
Perennial. Grows to 1-2 feet high. Blooms summer. Whorls of tiers of purple and pink flowers on a single stem. Leaves hve a sweet citrus smell when crushed. Easy to grow from seed.
Nicotiana alata
"Flowering Tobacco"
Annual. Grows to 2 1/2 feet high. Blooms spring-summer. Showy, sweet smelling trumpet-shaped flowers in shades of yellow, purple, white, green, pink or red. Re-seeds readily. Easy to grow.
Phlox drummondii
"Annual Phlox"
Annual. Grows to 2 feet high. Blooms spring-summer. Clusters of bright red flowers. Easily grown from seed.
Salvia coccinea
"Scarlet Sage"
Annual. Grows to 2 feet high. Blooms in summer-fall. Long spikes of bright red tubular flowers above dark green leaves. Easy to grow from seed.
Scabiosa atropurpurea
"Pincushions"
Annual. Grows to 1 1/2 to 3 feet high. Blooms in summer. Double, fragrant flowers in shades of blue, pink, purple, white or red on long stems. Re-seeds well and is easy to grow.
Tropaeolum majus
"Garden Nasturtium"
Annual. Grows to 12 inches high. Blooms in spring-fall. Large single or double flowers in brilliant shades of red, pink, mahogany, yellow or orange. Flowers sometimes hide behind the large round leaves. Seeds germinate quickly. Easy to grow.
Zinnia elegans
"Zinnia"
Annual. Grows to 3 feet high. Blooms in summer. Large single or double flowers in shades of white, yellow, red, purple, pink or orange. Seeds germinate quickly and plants are easy to grow. Prefers full sun.
